They would be able to attend one topic from each Group. Group A : Biomedical Instrumentation or Bioinformatics. Group B : Medical Image Transfer or Searching for Medical Literature.

Workshop participants will be awarded separate certificate by "Medical Computer Society of India".

During recent years our country has witnessed a proliferation of clinics, medical centers and hospitals all equipped with up to date high technology medical instruments. This in turn needs a knowledge pool capable of manufacturing, installing, operating and maintaining these instruments. The main objective of this workshop is to bring experts from diversified fields like Engineering, Medicine, Academics, R&D Organizations and Industries on a common platform to exchange ideas relating to recent developments and trends in medical instrumentation. This workshop will provide the participants an insight into the developments in the field of Biomedical Instrumentation. The current trends and future challenges in Medical Instrumentation form the main theme of this workshop.

Attend the pre-conference session on Searching Medical Literature which will demystify the various buttons and links in PubMed and teach you how to quickly narrow or broaden searches, find free articles and look for the proverbial needle in the haystack The session will include several tips and tricks.
